Team Leader: Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement

The Government of the Republic of South Sudan (GRSS) has received a Grant from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the Strategic Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Project(SWSSIP), and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this Grant shall be used for payments under the contract for Consultancy services for Feasibility Studies, Detailed Engineering Designs, Preparation of Tender Documents for Improving the Water Supply system and Supervision of Works Contract in Juba City Phase II. The services under this project include the following: (i) Feasibility Studies; (ii) Water Resources Assessment; (iii) Detailed Engineering Designs, (vi) Preparation of tender Documents and (v) Supervision of Works Contract

Qualifications required

Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Civil (Water Supply) Engineering.

Professional experience required
He/she must have a minimum of 20 years overall working experience; International working experience of min. 10 years.
Experience in management of minimum 3 successfully implemented water supply investment projects as Team Leader.
Strong experience in implementation feasibility studies design of water supply infrastructure is mandatory.
Experience in FIDIC Contracts Procurement and Management.
Experience in developing countries in water/wastewater sector will be an advantage.
Good command of written and spoken English.

Approximately 14 months during a total project period of 18 months
