GBV Manager

Job Description

The primary function of the GBV Manager is to provide technical guidance and supervision for the successful implementation of a pilot mobile GBV prevention and response program. RI is looking to for an experienced GBV Manager to lead all GBV activities a part of a new USAID/BHA funded integrated WASH, Health, Nutrition and Protection (S/GBV) project across two counties in Upper Nile State, South Sudan.

The GBV Manager will lead all GBV project implementation, developing work plans, spenddown plans, HR plans and input into BVA meetings, providing technical lead to quality and effective program implementation (including supervising activities, M&E, reporting), coordinate with key actors, set up and monitoring accountability mechanisms, facilitate learning within the project and build on best practices. Additionally, experience in working with national partners to deliver protection (CP and GBV) activities, and leading safeguarding fact-finding and investigations is mandatory. A demonstrable commitment to national capacity strengthening is mandatory. Additionally, S/he will have excellent written and verbal communications skills, and will be fluent in English. Experience working in project management within an INGO in conflict-induced fragile settings is mandatory, with previous experience in South Sudan desirable.
